Membership Pro Import Tools

I have uploaded my Joomla Users to EShop Customers and this has worked well. I have also enabled the OSMembership Pro plugin that automatically sets any new or renewing members to the eShop Group of Members so they get discounts once they login. This is working great thanks.

However this had made me realise that pre-existing current OSMembership subscribers didn't get imported as Members Group as I did the Joomla User import instead.

If I now run the OSMembership Import Tool to get the subscribers will that update the existing records to members group where they match or will I get a double up of people - 1 set as Joomla users and another group as OSMembership subscribers?

I have 18,000 customers and don't want to mess it up by doubling them and I also don't want to go through all existing members to assign them to the eShop members group

Hello Chris,

I can confirmed with you that the tool will only update and add the non-existed customer so you don't need to worry about duplicated customers in EShop.

However, to make sure, before run that tool, please backup your site or database first so you can revert it back easily if there is any problems while importing.

This is great to hear. I thought I had stuffed things up doing it the wrong way around.
