Ask for quote instead of checkout...

Hi,
I am going to make my first webshop-type site, and I want to use EShop.
I already found the answer to one of my question on this forum (can you make price visible only for a certain customer group - yes), but I have another question:
Initially, the site will not be used as a real webshop, but only as a display of all available products. However, the visitor should be able to enter the number of products they want, and then click a button "Send me a quote". That button should send an email to a salesperson, which includes the customer details, the product and the number of products they want.
Is this possible? Or can it be achieved with some sort of workaround?

Thank you for interesting in our EShop Shopping Cart extension and submitting the question here. Regarding your requirement: EShop supports you to do that exactly. So you just need to go to the Configuration of EShop, then:

1. At Catalog mode, choose Yes. When you enable the Catalog mode, then customer can not add product to the cart so they can not checkout too.

2. At Quote mode, choose Yes. When you enable the Quote mode, customer can add products into the quote, then send the quote to the admin's store. Admin's store will see your quote and contact back to you for more details.

It works exactly as your expect.
