Stock deducted

Hi Everyone

Could someone please tell me with each "Status" that an order can be placed in, which of these status's will products be deducted from the stock levels. 
Processing? 
Processed? 
Complete? 
I am aware that if an order is placed into the "Complete" Status and then deleted the stock will be "Put back". I'd just like some clarification as to when the stock will be deducted from my website when an order is placed, is it when the order is in processing or when the status has been changed to processed or complete?

Dear Nyssa,

Thank you for submitting the question here. If you go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Option tab:

1. At "Order Status", you should see the default value "Pending"
2. At "Complete Order Status", you should see the default value "Complete"

Of course, you can change the value of these settings of statuses but they must have the different values.

If you use default value and your store use an online payment plugin, then after customers made the pament to complete their order, the order status will be changed from "Pending" to "Complete" automatically. Also, the product stock will be also updated (deducted).
