Upload product main image error: Invalid file type

When trying to upload product images I get this error- Upload product main image error: Invalid file type! / Invalid file mime type!

Image file types with errors include jpg, png files. They are allowed files in system config.

Please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Option tab and make sure that you have the following values:

1. Allowed File Extensions:

How do I allow .exe files to be downloaded?

You should search for File Type and File Mime Type of the file that you want to sell to add in the configuration.

Also, you can zip the your .exe file and upload the zip file instead of .exe file
