I need to place an absolute URL in our notification messages that are sent after a purchase using eShop. When I put in the download URL or instructions URL for our products. It changes it to a relative URL.

This is OK for downloads because we can use [DOWNLOAD_LINK]. However I have other instruction pages on our site that I need to provide links to. But when the user gets the email, the relative URLS do not work as a clickable link. True they can copy and paste an address, but I need a clickable link in the email that will open a browser and go to the page.

Thanks for your help.

Hello David,

Normally, when you paste the absolute URL in the message, then the system will auto crop the domain name from URL. However, when sending email, the EShop system will check and auto add the domain name back to the relative URL so the link that customer receive in the email is still absolute URL. Can you check that in Email and confirm?

Sincerely, Giang
