acutally we're developing a shop for fashion and accessoires.
To attract new potentioally customers they shall get a coupon on registration. By apllying this to one of seven preselected (by us) products, they will get it for free. Normally those items cost something around 15-30€.
For this coupon only beeing apllied to this special item (its an 100% discount coupon), we created a dummy-item with the selected items as options (think of a t-shirt available in different colours, every colour is comparable to one specific item). The coupon is only applyable to this dummy-item an other maybe in the cart located items stay untouched by the coupon. To ensure that this only works once per customer we set the max orderable amount of this dummy to 1.
But now we've detected a bug: By adding on option (of the dummy, let's say 'item 1') twice and another option ('item 2') once the cart reacts with the message for this item is only orderable once. Now we set the amount of 'item 1' to 1. Although we have the same product, but with different options, in the cart, the max amaount setting of 1 doesn't work anymore. By applying the coupon now, it sets all prices to 0€ (just as it should). So its possible to order two (or more) of the free items, although it should only be one, because the max amount setting doesn't recognize for it beeing exceeded anymore.
Is there anything we can do to fix or work around this strange bug or would you please fix this inside of the EShop soon?
