view for ongoing events. (another archive view) was created by Thilo Schnell
Maybe that's kind of special - but it wouldn-t be much work and in my case it would be a great opportunity:
My events (acutally all seminars) are happening in a timeslot of about 6 months.
So it would be really great to have another view in which all seminars are displayed which are ongoing right now.
So basically another "archive" view with another if-line
So in my non knowing programming mind: "if start-time <= today and if end-time >= today then...."
Maybe other users could need that as well ?
Greets,
Thilo

Hi there,
if it is as easy as i thought... could someone give me a hint where to change what line in the archive view.
(I just don't need the original archive-view - but instead an ongoing events view what i mentioned above)
So my plan is to change the original archive view, so that this one displays the ongoing events.
So its probably the "views/archive/tmpl/default.php" which i have to look after... but since my php knowledge is quite limited...
If someone has an idea ... that would be great!

Are you found a solution? I've got the same problem. There in no way to show ongoing events when Hide Past Events is enabled. For me is a huge bug in this component. Ongoing events (start date is before today, and end date is after today) are like past events - not visible on timline and not visible in search results. Anybody has an idea how to override this?
