Custom Field Per Category

Is there currently an option to assign a custom field per category? If not, is this feature planned for the future? My customer creates a lot of duplicate events in a specific category. When custom fields are created or edited, they have to be assigned to a specific event or all events. It would be nice to assign them to all events in a specific category instead.

I have the same problem

I have 3 different categories with different custom fields, and now I have to assign for new events all the related fields again to this event. I use a spreadsheet so I can better see the relations.
If this was modelled by category then I could just enter an event, assign the category and that's it.

Has been implemented in Event Booking 1.6.5.

Yeah. Just go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set the config option Custom Fields By Category to Yes and you can use this feature .
