Custom/Core field ordering, categories module, etc

I was wondering if there are any plans to expand the following capabilities in the future?

1. Allowing the ability to order custom fields in with the core fields. So for example if you wanted to add "job title" you could put it underneath the persons's name. I was thinking that making everything a custom field except for "name" might be a good solution without altering the core.

2. I noticed that the [EVENT_DATE] field is not available on all confirmation screens. Is there an easy way to make this available?

3. Any plans to add some additional validation, like checking email or valid phone number format for custom fields?

4. I noticed that the module to display your Event Booking categories only goes 1 level deep. Any way to make it show subcategories as well?
