I would be nice to show an events details ahead of time but only allow User's to register after a specified date.
Maybe have it say where the Register Button would appear something like "Registration for Event Opens on [Date Specified]"
Maybe even have the waiting list feature working during this time. or some way for users to request to be notified when registration opens.
Here is why:
I have a client who well can not use Joomla that well or the EB software. So I usually setup his events for the year in advance.
But he doesnt want to recieve payments for all the events during the year at one time.
In case an event falls through for some reason. Sometimes the events details are preliminary months in advance but may fall through once the date gets closer.
