It would be very useful to me if custom fields not only were applied to the main category of an event but also searched and applied to the additional categories that an event has been tagged with.
This would make a big difference to how easy it would be to set up say one additional custom field that would only apply to a small number of events within a broader category.
For example I could then have a set of events whose main category is "workshop" but also tag them with a category of "catered workshops" I could then create some custom fields that applied to "catered workshops" events. Currently I would have to change the main category to "catered workshop" then duplicate the custom fields I have for workshops and add the additional custom fields for the catered workshops.
