My scenario is this; we have a locked down site (registered users only). The site is only used to store and disseminate secretarial documents. We often have users lose their log on criteria, and they become too frustrated to sort it out. It's resulted in instances where the member did not receive critical documentation,
I'd like to see registered users email notification that includes a download link to the document. If the user has the link they can download the document without having to log in. The user would, of course. be registered on the site. A bit like sync.com, where I can send a unique link to an email address so they can download without a sync.com account.
I see a couple of joomla extension components do this. It would be a nice inclusion for eDocman and one that would take a load off
