I was working on a site today, realizing I am trying to get the search module (search is horrible in Joomla) to work like a filter. I use filters to good effect on many sites, and they mostly make search irrelevant where they can be deployed. A category filter for sure, and a tag filter option would help many other developers and producers.
Please consider this for a future build.
