Global configuration „Hide Detail Button“

I use Timeline-Layout and global option „Hide Detail Button“ - No. Some events don´t have further information - not even something in short description (just title, date, hour) and if it would be possible to hide the detail button for single events would be cool.

I've had to do this via CSS a few times, but even doing it with CSS required code modification to include the event id as a class in the event's outermost <div> element (so that I could target individual detail buttons). A toggle for each event would be something that I would make use of for sure.
