Still struggling with finding events by dates. Don't really understand that this is hardly mentioned as it is so obvious that people would like to specify a date range to find events. Who cares about an event in a year when your holiday is next week.
The very best would be of course if the search module would also have a date picker for finding events within two dates, but if this cannot be done than at least search should search also look into date fields.
Proposal
Why not extend the search module with a tab with radio buttons that let's you decide what you want to include in your search.
