Speakers - Master List?

I have now set up two events using the Speakers feature in Events Booking, and I found the option to select a speaker from a previous event, which works and displays along the others; however, I am not easily finding where in Events Booking there might be a master list for maintaining speaker information. Does this exist or do I have to remember, for each speaker, where the speaker first appeared, then go edit via that event?

Apologies if this was documented, I read through all the documentation a few weeks ago and don't recall it, plus I just searched the documentation for speaker and found nothing.

We don't have masters list of speaker (we don't have a feature to manage speaker separately). So when you want to add speakers for one event:

- You can choose from list of available speakers(which was added before, for any events)
- Or enter new speakers for that event directly

So to edit information for a previously-used speaker, I have to go find the event in which I created the speaker bio? YIkes.

If there's a way to move this question to the "Features WIshList" I'd really like a master list for speakers.

OK. I will move it to features wishlist forum to get feedback from customers. If there are more customers need it, I will consider adding support for it in the future

This is still very problematic. A user creating an event will have no idea which event to go to if they want to update the speaker info. Some sort of UI that will take them into speaker edit mode from the event they're working on, or a Master Speaker List, will be necessary once we go live.

I Agree with Annamarie on this one.

There has to be a master speakers list of some sorts to be able to create, edit, delete speakers from the database.

I would be great to have it as a menu item for front-end too, where you can have ACL setting for "create and edit own" just as with locations.

And this would be nice for for Sponsors Tab too.

We will first go ahead with developing a feature to allow managing speakers on a separate menu option (for backend only)

That sounds like a really good start that covers the most important needs for now

In general though, I would say that its really valuable (And REALLY appreciated) when you go the full mile and make it available to Front-end because this enables full user content creation abilities especially essential to platform websites of all sorts who have multiple content creators on the website. You have this available with almost every content available and that is the reason why I love your products. I hope you will continue to have this as the end goal
