Coupon - apply discount only to event

Hello Tuan,
I have been using the coupon feature to apply discounts to my courses and it's working well. However, I would like to have the discount apply to the event fee, but not to the extra items defined in the Custom Fields section. In my situation I offer a kayak rental as an add-on to my courses, but do so at cost - therefore I want the discount to apply only to the course, not to the kayak rental. I hope that is clear.

Is there a way to do this? Or do you know of a work-around?

On the other hand, some folks buy or win gift certificates, in which case it's a dollar amount or a 100% discount on certain courses that I enter as a coupon code and I do want that to apply to the total, including the rental. So, I like the way it currently is, but want the added option to specify what the coupon applies to.

This feature is not needed by most of users, so I think I won't implement it into the extension (sorry). If you really want to have this feature, we can customize the extension to you to have this feature. We will discuss more details about it if needed.

I was hoping that there might be a suggestion for a work-around. I lose $2 each time someone applies the coupon to a rental and it doesn't occur all that often so I'll live with it for now.

Working on new version of Events Booking now and will try to integrate this feature in this new version. Give us about 3 more weeks to get this new version completed.

Since it is not a common usage, I am afraid of I could not implement it into core download package of the extension. So in this case, I think you will need to make some customization to have this feature in the system (it should take few hours of working to have this feature).
