Location Map not resizing was created by Keith Revell
I have recently purchased and installed the Event Booking extension and so far I have been very satisfied. My only problem is that no matter what settings I use the Location Map will not resize nor change the zoom level. Because the map occupies such as large portion of the screen people do not scroll down and see the registration button at the bottom and we are getting quite a few complaints.
I have set the Zoom to 1 and Size to 10 and created a new event - the location map still occupies fullscreen width and the zoom as it maximum zoomout. I have set the Zoom 15 and Size to 100 and created a new event - no change. I did have the googlemaps extension loaded so I uninstalled this extension - no change.
Is there a conflict with something else or another setting I have missed?
See attached screenshot for example.

Having the same problem.
Event-Detail-Page the map-canvas is in my case always:
no matter what i put in the general configuration in the backend.
I also didn't find the code in one of the php files (like views/map or views/event)
Could someone give me a hint where to look for it ?

Hi
If you want to try to change it yourself, please look at the file plugins/eventbooking/map/map.php .
I will try to make a param to allow you to change the width and height of the map soon. Right now, the height is hardcoded to 500px (but you can change it easily if you look at the code).
Regards,
Tuan

What is the status of this issue? (The original post is from a few months ago - I just installed Events Booking). There are parameters for configuring this in the backend, but they have no effect.
I tried editing the file you mentioned, and was able to change the zoom.
But replacing the width and height numbers in that file (originally 700 and 500px) has no impact - the map stays at 700px x 500 px.
What am I missing?
Thanks for your help.

I figured out one thing but I'm still stuck on another...
I realize now that the parameters in the configuration panel adjust the size and zoom of the map that pops up when I click on the link for the location of my event. That works fine and is very nice.
But since I have that link, I don't really need a map on the Event Details page itself - that is the one that is 700 x 500px that I thought should be resizing but it wasn't... (It's under the heading "Location Map").
Please let me know to get it off the events page; due to it's large size, the user has to scroll quite a bit to get to the "Register" buttons. I've been searching in the configuration but can't find it.
Thanks.

Just starting to work with this extention and i like it very much, nice!
Is there a way for rezising the map to make it also responsive, when using mobiles, like the extentions itself?
kind regards
