Registrants notification Mail recognized as SPAM

Hi

More and more our registrants don't seem to receive the notification mails after they register for an event. It seems that the notification mails from event booking go into their SPAM folder. Is there a way to prevent this? Do you offer the possibility to use DKIM, Sender-ID or something similar?

I also talked to my hoster. He told me to switch the joomla mailing to SMTP. At the moment I have it set to php Mailer. Would this help? How does Event Booking send emails? Somehow via Joomla backend mailing or directly. In the latter case, is it possible to switch on SMTP authentification?
