Choices in a booking

Hi T,

In DT Register I could create an event and in that event provide customers with an option, which would have different prices and then put limits on those options.

For example, I want to create and event such as a convention for people to attend. At that convention, people can chose different workshops to attend (as a drop down option for example). Each of those workshops have different prices and have a limited number of seats. When the seats for those workshops are filled out, I won't bookings to close for that workshop forcing people to chose another workshop to attend.

Can you tell me how I can do this in event bookings?

You can use custom fee field feature to allow users to choose the workshop they want and then charge them the price based on their selection. Please see joomdonation.com/using-extensions/using-...eb_custom_fee_fields for instructions.

However, in the current version of Events Booking, the system doesn't allow you to limit each option to a number which you setup. I might add support for this feature into the extension but I am afraid of you will have to wait for one month.

Yes. Will consider adding support for it in future release (maybe you will have to wait until version 1.6.4). We have no plan for adding support for this feature in 1.6.3.
