triple registrations?? was created by kevin
Hi,
One of my registrants had managed to register 3 times for one event.
My events are setup that registration is only possible for registered users.
So I removed confirmation and removed Captcha when registering for an event.
If someone has completed the registration form and clicked on confirm registration, his first registration is done and comes on the confirmation page. When he then clicks on the back button of his browser and then again on confirm registration, you get a double registration.
Is it possible to disable the back function when he is on the confirmation page?
Or enter a link in the confirmation page like: Click here to go back to the calendar view?
Thanks
Kevin

Hi Kevin
I am sorry but I don't really understand this situation. Could you please explain more details ? Maybe send me the link to the site so that I can check it to understand ? There should be small modification to the code in this case and I will be happy to guide you (should only take few minutes but I need to have a look at it in order to tell you want files need to be modified).

Hi Tuan,
Here's what I do.
Fill in the reg-form:
Click register
You get confirmation :
Then I click back in my browser and get this page:
Then I click register again
Get confirmation:
Then I click back in mu browser and get this page:
Then I click register and get confirmation:
All registrations have seperate confirmation codes.
Login at back-end shows following registrations and users and admin receives 3 confirmation mails
My site is: www.landvanasse.be
If you register, I can give you admin rights if you want.
PS: while your are at it, can you make the "Address field" a bit longer. Some addresses use more then the available space.
Thx
Kevin

Hi Kevin
I see the problem now. However, the back button in the web browser, we are having no way to disable it. It is a web browser behavior
So maybe to prevent users make multiple registration by mistake like that, you should be able captcha feature so that each time users want to register, they will have to enter captcha code and that will prevent users from mistake
