Module Future events - Module layout

Hi,
I use the module Future Events and have changed the layout from Default to Improved (nice Layout).
But when online, the image of the date is disturbed. Above are the initials of the month. But they are like this: EB_NOV_SHORT and EB_DEC_SHORT.

I think there is something wrong with the code there. I have found these fields in the language settings.
Can you look in to this?
