Creating Category not working properly in backend

Creating Category not working properly in backend was created by faramade
I am using 1.6.2, when creating category I am not able to select the parent category because all that is shown is TOP, I have other categories but it just won't show them. What am I doing wrong? or is there a bug in the extention.

I forgot to publish the category, it is working now that I published the categories.
