Set 'enable cancel registration' default value

Hi,
My client has another tricky question. Their site has many events submitted by non-admin users and they would like to be able to set 'enable cancel registration' by default to 'yes' for all new events.
Is this possible?

Thanks so much. Settings Enable Cancel Registration to Yes is easy. However, we also need to setup cancel before date to a certain date so that cancel registration feature to work.

Maybe if you set enable cancel registration to Yes and leave that cancel before date empty, we can simply set Cancel before date to the event date ?
