Hi,

my event booking (1.6.1) not working with coupon codes, in registration field coupon has been invalid (the coupon feature and item has been enabled), same mistake always.

That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site, let us know what coupon code you are using for testing so that we can check? Will it be OK if we update your site to EB version 1.6.2 ?
