Start date for when booking opens

This feature might be there but I have not found it.

I would like to be able to set up and event with all the details but also with a date when the bookings open. So that up to that date everything is visible and viewable but bookings have not opened. From the date onwards booking can happen as normal.

Another option would to have the usual Joomla feature is to have a start publishing and end publishing dates.

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported at the moment. So maybe before that date. you set the Registration Type to disable registration so that users cannot book for it. When that date comes, you need to change registration type again to enable the registration.

That is the only solution for now. I will consider improving it in the future.

Thank you for your reply. I understand but it will be impractical doing this manually as there are many events and to continually be setting the Reg type as on and off will mean that at some time an event will end up on or off when it shouldn't be.

I look forward to the inclusion of this feature.

I would like to take this idea a step further. I have used 'another' event registration program that allows for:-

1. Start date AND start time for bookings/registrations
2. End date AND end time for bookings/registrations

They have proven useful for many user's applications. However the inclusion of a cutoff time to the currently existing cutoff date would be a great addition in the mean time. Is that possible?

At the moment, it is not possible. But I will think about it more and might add support for it in the next release which we are working on at the moment.
