When a user registers for an event, I have it set to create a new user. The user is created fine and all information carried across howver it seems the password they enter as part of the registration is not being set so the user can not log in without having to first go through the re-set password procedure. Any ideas?
What Joomla version you are using? If you are using Joomla 3.2.0, there was a bug in password processing of Joomla 3.2.0. Please upgrade your site to Joomla 3.2.1, after that, please check it again and let me know the result.
hmm. That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of the site. I will check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you
