Problem with Recurring Event

Using Version 1.6.2 I am trying to create a recurring event but only the first day is showing in the calendar. The attached screen shots show that the recurring event was saved as a Parent Event as default, as well as my settings for the recurring event. Should the event be listed as a Standard Event like the other events? I did not see any place I could change this.

It seems there is something wrong with the recurring settings which you made. Please submit a support ticket sending us admin account of your site. I will try to create a sample recurring events for you
