Upcoming Events displaying expired was created by gojyuan
Hi Tuan,
The upcoming events module doesn't seem to use the local date for expiry. We have events run over the weekend that are still showing on the upcoming events display on our homepage.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi
Could you please explain more details ? Basically, the upcoming events will only display events which have event date greater than or equal the current date.
It doesn't work like that on your site? Could you please give me a sample event which should not be displayed but still being displayed at the moment?

Hi Tuan,
I looked through my old messages and queried this 2 years ago and your reply was that the extension uses the timezone settings of the server, not the Timezone settings in my Joomla site.
Most of my events are on the weekend so it is only the next day that I notice them.
Regards
Linda

Good morning Tuan,
You can see an expired event on my website now. It is Sunday morning in Sydney and the event for yesterday is still showing. Most of our events are on the weekend so by Tuesday, you cannot see an example.
