Event category view was created by wirex
Hi,
I'm try to create in my menu items which will show events from certain categories. I found two ways of doing this:
1. Category Default View to show events from one category. I like this layout because on the top of events it show description of category. However this layout displays all events, past and future.
2. Up-coming Events Default View and chose only one category. This do the trick and showed only future events but there is no category name and description.
I would like to show only upcoming event from certain category together with category description.
Any idea how to do it?
Thanks,
Wirex

You should be able to just select hide past events in the settings and that should accomplish what you are after.

Yes. As @jkosick, you can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Hide Past Events, set it to Yes and then you can use option #1 which you mentioned
