Type of Recurring event was created by Donal
Hello,
we run 12 weeks semesters of 1 hour long after school clubs.
We accept registration part of the way into the semester.
What is the best way to deal with this in terms of start date, payment calculation, and updating of description.
At the moment, each week, I need to manually go in and edit the event, e.g. to change the start to next week, to reduce the cost by 1 week, and to update the description for the semester.
I'm sure there is a better way, but I can't figure it out.
Can you think of a better way of handling this scenario using Events Booking?
Thanks,
Donal

Hi Donal
Maybe you can try to create a weekly recurring events to save time (see documentation.joomdonation.com/2-events-...kly-recurring-events for instructions).
Basically, with this method, you can create 12 events in one step. However, you will still have to edit each event to change the price of each event.
Not sure if it works but that's the only solution / option I can see

Hi Tuan,
thanks for the thoughts. Your way is the only way I thought of as well. The problem arises when the remaining capacity needs to be based on how many tickets have already been sold for the preceding events. I didn't think there was an easy way to do what I need.
Thanks

Ah, so all events share a total capacity ? Then in this case, I am afraid of the only way to handle it doing it manually as how you mentioned in your first post .
