Owner event editing - Front was created by Gary Boulter
Hi, before upgrading to latest version (done this weekend) events owned by registered users were editable via the front-end.
Since the upgrade the Edit button no longer shows.
Has there been some changes in this area ?

Thanks
Gary

Hi Gary

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, click on Options button in the toolbar, select Registered Group, set Edit Own permission to allowed

After that, it should work as expected

Regards,

Tuan

Same issue here:

If I try to edit an event from the front end, I get this error:
Erreur: 0
DateTimeZone::__construct(): Unknown or bad timezone (0)

Hi
I was carrying out some testing with one of our website users and event owners and I found that the error occurs when you use recurring events. Meaning you create an event (the parent) then create a number of recurrences of the event (Children). if you amend the owner of the parent. when the owner attempts o edit the event from the front end the "DateTimeZone" error occurs.

To get around this I removed all the recurring events and created individual ones and this now works for me

This may not be the case for all but is was for mine..

thanks

I do confirm it occurs with recurring events... but no recurring events make the extension useless for me :(

Hi

Could you please help getting this file, unzip it, upload to components/com_eventbooking/view/event/tmpl folder of your site, then check it again and update us with the result ?

Great. Thanks for confirming. I am going to update the latest codebase with this fix on tomorrow.
