Security Risk for Expired Memberships?

I'm just wondering... I've been using the same old version of Memberships Pro for over a year now and I never see anything about updates. I know there's been updates (just one this month). Does this present any kind of security concern?

There are no security issues with Membership Pro so far, so you can keep using old version if you could not afford to update to latest version

However, it is not true that there are no update, there have been many new version releases and there will be more new releases in the future For your information, we are going to release version 2.2.0 later this week
