Documentation on setting up payments

This is day two for me. Is there any information online pertaining to EventBooking and setting up the payment transactions for customers signing up for events? The only one I've ever used was Paypal. I noticed that this Paypal doesn't allow ordinary credit card purchases, unlike other sites I've seen. Can someone point me in the direction I need to set up a secure site for payment transactions? I saw the Autthorize.net and others. I know nothing about which ones are easier or cheaper. Thanks for any help/advice you can give.

PayPal should be PayPal, just like every where else... ??
I use the basic PayPal plugin as the only payment method on my site, and it allows for either the standard login-to-account or pay-with-credit-card-without-login.

The way my PayPal is setup here, it makes you create an account with PayPal to use your credit card. I wonder if I have a setting wrong somewhere?

Ahh, I was in test mode. In test mode, you don't get the regular credit card option. In live mode you do. Thanks for the response James Riley.
