Issues with wait listing for our events

We recently moved our old website from Joomla 1.5 to 3.5.1, and moved form an older version of Event Booking to version 2.4.2. Ever since the move the wait list hasn't worked correctly for us.

The "Join Waiting List" buttons are appearing when an event fills, however the buttons don't work. All they do is return you to the home page of the website.

I have tried turning off SEF and that didn't help.

Not sure what else to try. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have any template override based on old code of Events Booking ? Please check html folder of your site template, if there is a folder called com_eventbooking inside that folder, please rename that folder and check it again

If it still doesn't work, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and describe how we can see the issue

We are going to check to see what's wrong and get it sorted for you

There are no template overrides for Event Booking, so I will open a ticket about this issue.
