Alias for recurring event not working was created by WNC Website Admin
Hi,
I created a one-off event with this url:
wyongneighbourhoodcentre.org.au/events/p...g-people-term-2-2016
The alias was:
free-a-capella-singing-group-for-young-people-term-2-2016
I then deleted that event and made a recurring event using the same alias.
However, using that URL now links me back to the home page and says:
However I created a test event with this URL:
wyongneighbourhoodcentre.org.au/events/p...vent-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8
And that alias works fine, and seems to assign event #1 in the series with that alias, while all other events in the series have a data appended to the post title. As do the recurring event "child" events:
What is the reason for this?
How can I fix it?
[using Event Booking version 2.2.1]

Hi
In that case, go to Events Booking -> Tools -> Purge URLs to re-set the URLs was cached and it should be OK
Other option is going to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at SEF router settings tab, find the config option Insert Event ID, set it to Yes
After that, the issue won't happen anymore
