Custom fields showing up in billing information

I created many customized fields that I want to show up on group registration, but I do not want them to show up on the "billing information" screen.

Is there a way to do this?

Yes. Just edit that custom field, change the Display In setting of the field. See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...-display-in-property to understand all options of this setting

For your need, I think change Display In property of these fields to Both Group Member form and Individual Billing Form and it should work OK
