Registration for Event Booking without a set date

Could not find the Event Booking forum, so posting here...

Is there an option to have registration for events that don't have a specific date set? For example, event is based on how many registrants will book, if enough people register, then date will be set, if capacity is not filled, date is held off until capacity is filled - let's say a training course has the requirement of 15 people before trainer sets a date, once the requirement of 15 people has been met, trainer will set the date for the event? Is such a thing possible?

Honestly, this is something which won't be added into the extension in very near future. We might have support for it in the future, but to be honest, could not be less than few months (6 months for example)

Right now, I have other more important features I want to focus working on first

I would love this funtction as well, I want people to register interest for an event, and infact I would give options of the date, then when enough have registered interest I would like to set the actual date for it.

My client is a safety instructor and offers a variety of different types of courses, which essentially depends on the number of registrants booking for a course before they offer the course. One example is swimming lessons, if they don't reach the target number of registrants, they don't offer that course until it's fully booked. So setting a date is not really possible for that type of course.

A workaround for now is that set event date to 2099-12-31 00:00:00

Then on frontend, the date will be displayed as To be confirmed (it can be changed via Events Booking -> Translation)

Then when the number of registrants meet the need, you can edit the event, change the date to the date you want

The only problem here is that people still makes registration, make payment....So what happens if the capacity is not enough and you could not offer the course? In this case, it will require some kind of refund manually
