Registration Access Error Message was created by Adam Becker
When setting an event registration access to a specific group, when you are logged in but not in proper group, the message on the registration form says "Please login to register for this event".

This will be very confusing for users.

Does this need a ticket to resolve, or I am missing a configuration setting somewhere to change this text? I think I have gone through all the settings fairly thoroughly - but might have missed something.

Many thanks in advance for your help with this.

Hello Adam

It is actually a mis-leading message and need to be sorted. Added to my to do list and will have it sorted in next minor release 2.13.3

Give me 2 (or maybe 3 more weeks) to have the new version release

Thank you, Tuan.

Can I ask what the solution will be? When examining the issue and starting to think about a hack -- if we needed to go that route -- I wondered if each event might have a text field so that a denied registration access message could be unique for each event. For our client who is the middle of testing your Ehop, MembershipPro, and Event Booking components, that message would be "Your membership is not up-to-date, or you are not logged in", but this message would not apply for all your customers, nor all events our client might like to lock down.

I appreciate your responsiveness to the forum questions and tickets I have posted - amazing service :-)

Best,

Adam

Hello Adam

The message would be a generic message and in a language file so that you can change it if needed. It is not hardcoded in the code, don't worry

Tuan
