When I try to access a page within my site called "homecoming" I get the above message and takes me to the home page instead of the homecoming page. Homecoming is a public page and this does work when not logged in. Somehow Event Booking thinks that "homecoming" is an event rather than a page in Joomla. I have an event called "Homecoming 2018" which is active and open for registration. Its alias is homecoming-2018. I have no other events, current or past, that are anywhere close to the name "homecoming". The first 2 examples show what happens when logged on to the site. The 3rd example shows what you see when accessing the homecoming page when not logged into the website.

Hi

I think it happens because that event has same Alias with one of the event you created in the past

The easiest way to solve this issue is going to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at SEF router settings tab, set Insert Event ID parameter to Yes

Then check it again. The issue should be gone

Tuan

I set Insert Event ID to Yes and the problem still occurs. I forgot to mention that we are using {ebregister 132} in an article to display the event log on a screen below the article content. 132 is the ID of the "Homecoming 2018" event. This still gives the error message when accessed from a logged-in session. When not logged in it works fine.

I guess there is something wrong with the setting and it causes the issue, Please submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super admin account of the site

2. Link to the page

3. Tell us what we need to do to see the error

We are going to check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted

Usually, it's something wrong with the event setup. Try to access to Tools -> Purge URLs, then check to see whether the issue sorted

If not, submit a support ticket so that we can check it on your site

Hi Tuan,
I get this message too and my registration isn't set to expire and I did go into delete urls. I ended up copying the same event and then my registration page is fine, and unpublished the one that was working up until today. I am not at capacity for it to no longer accept registration and when clicking on configuration, have a "Error
You are not authorised to view this resource.
Event Booking version 3.12.3, Copyright (C) 2010 - 2020 Ossolution Team"

How can I be sure this doesn't happen randomly when I need registrations to come in.

Thanks,
Marcy
