Invite Friend - Can this be turned off?

I'm encountering problems with the Event registration invitation pop up window in responsive mode. My website doesn't really need the ability to invite friends. Is it possible to turn off this feature in the configuration back end? I don't seem to be able to find it.

Yes. You can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Themes tab, set Show invite friend button config option to No and that option will be disabled

Is there any way to do this on an event-by-event basis or is it only all-or-nothing?

It's a global configuration and will affect all events. We don't support this setting for each event

I would like to chime in and say that I would really like the option to set this for each event, not globally. Sometimes it makes sense to invite a friend and sometimes it doesn't. Thanks!

I will monitor if there are more customers need it. If Yes, then I will add support for this option in the future. For now, I focus working on other more important improvements
