Discount dependant upon checkout option

Our website is taking bookings for disabled people to come to events, we have some people who would receive a 10% discount if they bring their own carer to an event.

Is it possible, using shopping cart to apply a 10% discount at the time of checkout if they choose a specific option?

Unfortunately, it's not possible. Currently, we don't have a way to provide discount/fee calculation base on percent, only fixed amount only

So maybe you can create custom fee field, eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...wn-custom-field-type , set fee amount to negative amount to give them fixed discount amount (For example, 10$) if they choose certain option?

If that setup doesn't work, I am afraid of we don't have any solution. Maybe you can think about using coupon code to see whether it's OK, too
