Brands - Manufacturer selector module

I was looking for a way to be able to select a brand from a drop down selector list. For me it is a faster way for someone to search for a particular brand and keep a long list short. I manage to achieve this with another module pointing to a menu of brands I created in joomla. I was wondering if it was possible to build this in to Eshop as native module. Regards Dave.

This is a very good idea I will like to see that as well.

Actually, there is already a manufacturer module so customer can click on a manufacturer from the module to view list of products in that manufacturer.

sorry to drag up an old thread..
i may be missing something in the setup but when i click on a manufacturer it shows all the products not the categories from that manufacturer. can that be done?

If you click on manufacturers, then it will show all products from that manufacturers, it is not related to categories there.
