Disable country and region fields was created by Hans
Hey Giang,

My webshop only delivers to customers in my country. We don't need to know a region because items gets shipped based on street + nr + postal code + city.

However right now I cannot remove the fields country or region. Can this be changed?

Hello Hans,

You are right. Currently, the country and region fields can not be removed. I will consider to make it more flexible in the future so admin can turn them ON/OFF.

Hi Giang,

Could you please make it possible on the next update to remove the "region" field from the checkout process?
As I said before, the region field in many European countries is not normally used in postal addresses. It is an extra step which annoys our customers when they have to enter this info.

Hello David,

This is already supported in the latest version 1.4.0 of EShop. So you can turn country/region ON/OFF. Please update and you will have it.

You can go to EShop -> Sales -> Fields to turn it off there.
