Separate checkout line item for package fee

Separate checkout line item for package fee was created by Jeremy Prine
The Item Shipping plugin has a field for "Package fee". My client would like this to show up as its own line item on Step 6 of the checkout process, instead of being included in the shipping total line item. Is this something you could do?
