Relate a product to its own category

Hi,

I know it is possible to relate products to other products.
But wouldn't it be nice to have an option to relate a product to its own category?
So it will automatically be related to all other products within the same category.
And thus there is no need to add every new product to a serie of similar products in the same category, which can be quite a job when there are lots of products. And thus will the tab Related Products fill it self automatically too.
