Is it possible for a Manager, assign a ticket to other Manager and make it private between the User and the Manager?

Hello

We only allow managers to assign ticket to staff. So maybe adding that manager to staff user groups as well so that other manager can assign ticket to him (as if he's a staff) ?

Please also note that there is nothing private here. When you add something to the ticket:

- Manager can see it
- Staff can see it
- The customer (who submitted the ticket) can see it, too

Does the manager have to be a site administrator to assign a ticket to another user? When viewing the ticket in the front-end there is no option to assign the ticket.

Hi Paul

It's controlled by permission settings in the component. Go to Helpdesk Pro -> Configuration, click on Options button in the toolbar, select the user groups you want to be able to assign tickets, set Assign Ticket permission to allowed

After that, users from that group (and it's children groups) will be allowed to assign tickets
