The Joom Donation developer team are proud to announce the release of Joom Donation 5.1. This is a second release for the 5.1 series of Joom Donation with new improvement and addresses issues introduced in previous versions.

What new in Joom Donation 5.1
  • Add Spam Detect plugin (Using Stopforumspam API)
  • Add Filter Donors by Currencies
  • Statistic Donation by Currencies
  • Fix Login/ Registration issue on Donation form
  • Fix Translation tool issue at Back-end side
  • Improve Joom Donation installation success layout

I have a problem with updating from 5.0 to 5.1 over the Extensions - Update site in backend.

In yellow:

Warnung: Fehler beim Verbindungsaufbau zum Server: 403


In red:

Fehler: Paketdownload fehlgeschlagen. Manuell von www.joomdonation.com/index.php?option=co...ckage&document_id=55 herunterladen und installieren.


It seems the Joomla cannot connecting to your update-server (error 403).

Hi Michael,
Have you registered Download ID from www.joomdonation.com/download-ids.html and enter it at Joom Donation configuration page yet? And please remember to publish plugin: Installer - Joom Donation Update Package too

Yes, I have registered the same ID on the configuration-page and published the Update plugin.

I have try with a new Download-ID, but the same error.
