Basic Payment Option with email of Credit Card

Hi have a non tech savy client who wants to use our joom Donation form but then simply collect cc info and pass it through the email so they can process it onthe machine int he office. Is there a safe way to do this?
If they have a credit card processing machine should they be able to ask for a n authorize.net api to process safely on line... IN short we want to have a simple payment system without processing on line.

If you just want to collect credit card information and processing the payment yourself, you can use custom fields to allows customers to enter their credit card information..... However, this is not a safe way because if someone has access to back-end of your site (or access to your email), they will be able to see these credit card numbers and use them !
