Gift Aid

I think Gift Aid only applies to organisations based in the UK. What it allows charities to do is claim back the taxable amount on any donation, so if a donor agrees to donate via Gift Aid we can claim back the tax paid on that amount from the Government. As long as the donor is a taxpayer and they agree to Gift Aid all we need to do is pass their details onto the tax man and he will give us money back!...

All a donor has to do to "Gift Aid" is give their name, address and indicate that they are happy to "Gift Aid" which can be a done through a simple Yes/No checkbox.

So for example, Jon Smith donates £10 and checks the Gift Aid check box, we can then claim 20% (standard tax rate) back from the Government, which in this case would be £2.50

So by adding one simple check box all UK based charities can earn an extra 20% on all donations, which I'm sure you'll agree is an INVALUABLE FEATURE and I really can't understand why this has not been added to any of the Joomla donation extensions yet.

btw... I love your Donation extension, it is by the best donation extension available for Joomla but this is something that is a must for all UK charities.

In this case , why don't you create a custom field for called Gift Aid (Joom Donation allow you to create unlimited custom fields) .
